Vol. 15 No. 57 (2026): Quranic and Pedagogical Cognitions According to Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib (Peace Be Upon Him)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings be upon the best of messengers, and upon his virtuous and pure Progeny.

Praise be to Allah, who enables us to serve His chosen ones, Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him and His Progeny) and his pure Progeny, through pondering their knowledge and presenting it—documented in conferences, seminars, and workshops, and subsequently through various scientific and methodological studies. This includes the continuity in issuing the specialized periodicals of this rigorous thought. Indeed, we are enabled to produce a new issue of the journal for serious readers and researchers, Al-Ameed journal. We strive for every issue to include a dossier that attracts the reader and benefits them through the diversity of subjects. Therefore, the dossier this time is titled (Quranic and Pedagogical Cognitions According to Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib (Peace Be Upon Him)).

This dossier comprises three research papers concerning the speech of the Master of the Eloquent (Peace Be Upon Him): regarding the immunization system within his educational framework, regarding social awareness, and regarding his effort to serve and preserve Glorious Book of Allah. There is no doubt that his thought (Peace Be Upon Him) still requires further mature studies. This file is but a scientific provocation of the curiosity of researchers to engage with a non-traditional Sira [biography] of our Master Abu al-Hasan (Peace Be Upon Him) from unforeseen angles; for the bestowal of this Sira is inexhaustible. No sooner does the pondering researcher exert his mind therein than he finds what his predecessors did not, producing new insights due to his proficient approach.

From here, we invite promising pens to sharpen their resolve, to write anew, and to seek everything novel—whether in new facets of the Sira of the Imam (Peace Be Upon Him) or in the biographies of the Infallible Imams (Peace Be Upon Him). We urge drawing more from them to resolve the crises and problems of the age, so that they serve as an epistemological path for subsequent generations. We, in turn, exert our efforts in auditing, publishing, and printing them according to the recognized methodological foundations, so they serve as a cognitive source for researchers regarding this great intellectual heritage.

In this regard, we renew the invitation to intellectual institutions and various universities to urge researchers toward active participation in bolstering their journal, Al-Ameed journal, with more research and studies that are novel in their nature of treatment and inquiry. We are fully prepared to adopt, peer-review, and publish them in your journal, Al-Ameed journal, so that your valuable ideas are within the reach of learners, readers, and followers—in service of our Masters, the pure Imams (Peace Be Upon Him), and out of belonging to our Master Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas (Peace Be Upon Him). Our final prayer is that praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.
