In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings be upon the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers, and upon his immaculate progeny, and upon those who adhere and buttress them until the Day of Judgment.
Now to the issue
Here comes the fifty-third issue for Al-Ameed Journal with a tapestry of scientific diversity and authentic research studies and with a ground of originality and a modernistic manifestation. Such affirms the ongoing commitment of the Al-Ameed Journal to its academic mission since its blessed inception.
As per usual; for an issue there is a file; the current one takes the title of "Imam al-Mahdi (May Allah expedite his resurrection): Birth and Doctrine," to designate a significant doctrinal and intellectual angle. In the file are there three high-quality research papers; the first tackles the semantic dimensions of the Zubayri hadith on the birth of Imam Sahib al-Zaman (May Allah expedite his resurrection) by Dr. Khaled Ghafoori Al-Husseini, Al-Mustafa International University – Iran. The second does the Orientalist suspicions of the belief in Imam al-Mahdi (May Allah expedite his resurrection ) , by Dr. Laith Al-Attabi , University of Kufa. The last one, in English , does pragmatic analysis tools to study the letters of Imam al-Mahdi (May Allah expedite his resurrection ) during the era of occultation, by Dr. Wafaa Sahib Mahdi Muhammad from the University of Baghdad.
As for the rest of the research papers , it is so salient and so distinguished with thematic and methodological diversities . Among these is an analytical study of the personality of Seida. Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her) as a model figure of a leading woman in society, by three researchers from the University of Babylon. Moreover , certain studies address the anthropological dimensions of the Coronavirus pandemic and the globalization of risk, the impact of Freemasonry on the transmission of Western thought to Iran, and the analysis of the population pyramid of Karbala Governorate from the perspective of the population geography. There is a critical reading of the stance of the secular movement on religion through the figure of Farah Antoun.
Both the editorial and scientific boards of the journal are so ardent to fortify this issue with erudite content and sound methodology to manifest the strenuous efforts of the Al-Ameed journal to be an open scientific platform for researchers worldwide . The journal endeavours to contribute unique papers to enriching the academic library and responds to the requirements and challenges of the current stage.
Last but not least, it is hoped that the esteemed reader will find in the current issue what sets his thought and intellectual interest content, and fortifies the bridges of trust between the journal and its distinguished readership.
Last to pray is to thank Allah, Lord of the Worlds
