Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and his virtuous and pure Progeny, the blessings and peace of my Lord be upon them all.
To proceed:
Here comes an up-to-date issue for Al-Ameed journal, through which it greets its beloved readers , esteemed researchers and those who are concerned with cultural, cognitive, and research affairs . The journal aspires to emulate the same path it pursues since its inception, and upon which its Sira , tradition, continuously and consistently proceeds with until it takes recognition among its peers of peer-reviewed scientific journals. Such a path is to encourage free, authentic scientific research, and for its issues to be entirely adorned with a file that addresses a cause among the causes of the Hanif [true] religion, according to the method of Ahlalbayt school (Peace Be Upon Them all).
The file of the issue is dedicated to Imam al-Sajjad (Ali ibn al-Husayn ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib, Peace Be Upon Them). This courageous Imam is distinguished by Muslims as a witness to the tragedies that befell the family of the Prophet, his elite, and his protectors, tragedies that grieve the core of anyone who possesses a heart while he is a witness. Just as generations of the nation recognize him as a witness who does not incline toward the adornment, pageantry, and fleeting vanities of the worldly life; thus, his prayers, prostrations, and supplications grant him a sublime spiritual niche in the heart of all Muslims regardless of their various inclinations.
The life of Imams of Ahlalbayt (Peace Be Upon Them all)—including Imam al-Sajjad (Peace Be Upon Him)—is a rich life, fertile with the provisions of faithful, spiritual, and epistemological wealth. This is what makes all busy in research and study to derive from this life an intellectual and cognitive provision, based on the qualifications of the researchers and their angles of perspective.
The main focus in current issue , “ Sajjadist Orbits in Thought, Exegesis, and Language” , tackles certain axes of the journal of Al-Ameed : the papers fall into two isles , one is for the issue file and the other ones pertain to the journal in general . Consequently , there will be two kinds of the scientific research : the first concerns the collective research in which a group of researchers syndicate together to ponder over a topic from various angles and the second does the individual research that many journals exert themselves to have it as their cornerstone .
The present file for the issue comprises three research papers concerned with exegesis, educational and psychological sciences, and the sciences of the Arabic language; they fall within the remit and scope of the journal in the humanities.
Furthermore, there are two groups of research papers: the scientific research papers written in Arabic language, four papers address the literature of supplication, the interpretation of Quranic discourse, the refutation of certain sophistries raised about the Glorious Quran, and educational and psychological sciences.
As for the other four papers , they are written in English and address various cognitive causes that hit the specialization circle of the journal. The paths of those who desire to study are wide open in this journal, and it is an aid to everyone who crave for their scientific effort to be a part of the scientific building of the Islamic nation : taking into account that this building be mature, and seek the truth from its original sources.
