Abstract

    The study focuses on the right of political opposition in Al Imam Ali (PBAH)thought, through the conditions, specifications and practical determinants he set to take hold of power and the environment provided by freedom in all its dimensions, especially political freedom that recognizes the right of political opposition as part of human rights and its legitimate and political duties. The study also sheds light on the dimensions of political opposition, through its legitimacy, controls, causes, motives and types according to the imam and his practical experience and: assuming that the opposition right is a basic right on which Imam Ali (PBAH) worked to buttress the pillars of political and Islamic system. The imam was very reliable on it to develop the political and Islamic experience after the death of prophet Mohammed (PBAH).
