Allah, the Almighty, creates man and give him the ability and will to control them, so the will is an optional process in the hands of a person who tames it or takes care of it: He grows strong, yet another comes to be weak as there is no will. Furthermore, being different from other people, it may be found in a person with a strong will in some situations and not found in other weak people.
The will corresponds with a person's ability in controlling his behavior, emotions, interests, and impulses, so he achieves his goals and rises to the highest levels of spiritual and psychological perfection. Such a will becomes evident in all its manifestations between the companions of Imam Al-Hussein, peace be upon him, in their steadfastness in their position in support of the truth without coercion, though in fear the enemies are, the followers of the imam race to cuddle the battle and rejoice with their awareness and will. Therefore, this research study tends to be a modest contribution to objectivity in identifying such a true will.
The research includes two topics with an introduction and a conclusion. In the first, the concept of will is manipulated linguistically and idiomatically, and the motives of the will, its conditions and fields are under focus. The second, the role of the mind and body in willpower are presented as the companions of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, on the tenth day show the strength of their will, justifying the origins of this will in the light of what was theorized.
